The other day I caught a piece of one of Bush2's recent radio addresses on CNN. He was talking about the recurring attacks on U.S. soldiers since he declared heavy combat to be over. He was saying something to the effect of, we are taking strong measures to detain these "criminals".
The use of the word "criminal" was what stuck out. I'm no supporter of Iraq nor religious fanatics. However if a person's country has recently been attacked, invaded, and taken control of by a foreign military, isn't there some irony in calling that person a "criminal" for resisting that foreign invader.
